It is with great sympathy we announce the passing of Tiffany Junelle Bethea Benjamin, July 19 2020.  Please lift the Bethea-Benjamin  family in prayer as they grieve the loss of their loved one. Due to Covid 19, the family is asking to please limit visitations due to increased health risk to family and friends. If you do plan to visit, please wear a mask and practice social distancing. Funeral services will be on July 24, 2020 at 12:00pm, Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church, 3248 Hwy 9 East, Clio, South Carolina.  Interment will in the Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church Cemetary.   Funeral services will be limited to immediate family members and program participants of 50 persons or less with a interment after funeral services. Please note that mandatory facial mask to be worn during entire service.  While the Bethea Benjamin family would love to be surrounded by your presence, they acknowledge the health risks to family, church members, friends, and particularly to those who are most vulnerable to this disease, the elderly and those with chronic health conditions. If you have any symptons related to COVID-19, please do not attend the funeral services. What the family needs most at this time are your prayers and understanding.

Obituary

I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Hence forth there is laid up for me a crown of righteous, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing. 2 Timothy 4:7-8  

Tiffany Jonelle Bethea Benjamin was born on June 16, 1974 in Dillon South Carolina. She slipped into eternity on July 19, 2020 in the home. During her time of illness, she maintained a quiet but strong spirit, she did not complain. She was strong willed and fought to maintain her independence. Her faith in God sustained her and kept her grounded.

Tiffany received her early education in the Dillon County Public School System. She graduated from Dillon High School class of 1992. She further her education at Northeastern Technical College, Cheraw, SC majoring in Health education. As a young child she learned to managed her health, which lead her to the medical field, because of her desire to help others.

Tiffany accepted the Lord as her savior and joined Ebenezer Baptist church under the leadership of Rev. Powe. She was a faithful member and enjoyed coming to church and listening to the choirs sing. She had a passion to work with children in the daycare at church. She enjoyed Sunday School and interacting with the members.

Tiffany had a sweet spirit. She was a kind person and very loving to everyone. She had a huge heart. Tiffany had a love for baking and trying out new recipes. In addition to raising her only daughter the loved of her life. She nurtured her niece DeAndrea, nephew Darius and others.

Tiffany is survived by her caring and devoted parents James and Mary Bethea: a loving daughter Latazia Bethea Florence S.C and step son Braxton Williams Florence SC: a loving brother Darrell Bethea Raleigh, NC. Five aunts Oralee McRae Dillon SC, Mary Alice Bethea High Point, NC Sylister Bethea Dillon, SC, Evelyn Bethea Florence, SC, Carolyn Sue McRae Philadelphia, PA. Two uncles Leverne McRae High Point, NC, Marvin Covington Philadelphia, PA. One niece DeAndrea Bethea Raleigh, NC, nephew Darius Bethea Raleigh, NC and great niece Destiny Bethea Raleigh, NC. A host of cousins and other relatives. She also leaves a special friend Carlton Timmons. Special close friends of the family Nana Bradley, David Benjamin, Tramale McKoy.
