LULA MAE PURNELL

It is with great sympathy we announce the passing of Lula Mae Purnell, 94 of  Dillon, South Carolina on  December 24, 2020 at McLeod Medical Center in Dillon, South Carolina. Private funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 31, 2020 at 1:00pm at the Jackson McGill Memorial Chapel~ 612 S Main St, Marion, SC 29571. Mother Purnell will be laid to rest at the Resthaven Cemetery, Dillon South Carolina.   Funeral services will be live streamed on the House of Thomas Facebook site.    Please note there is a mandatory mask requirement. Family and friends are asked to please wear a mask and practice social distancing during the chapel servces as well as graveside services. While the Purnell family would love to be surrounded by your presence, they acknowledge the health risks to family, church members, friends, and particularly to those who are most vulnerable to this disease, the elderly and those with chronic health conditions. If you have any symptons related to COVID-19, please do not attend the funeral services. What the family needs most at this time are your prayers and understanding.   Please lift the Purnell family in prayer as they grieve the loss of their loved one. Please feel free to sign the guestbook or light a candle.
