It is with great sympathy we announce the passing of David Earl Townsend of  Dillon, South Carolina on  October 18, 2020.  The Townsend family is receiving friends and family at 1009 Pine Street, Dillon, SC.  Visitors as asked to please wear a mask as well as practice social distancing. Funeral will be held  on Friday, October 23, 2020 at 2:00pm, Resthaven Cemetery. Family and friends are asked to please wear a mask and practice social distancing during the graveside services. While the Townsend family would love to be surrounded by your presence, they acknowledge the health risks to family, church members, friends, and particularly to those who are most vulnerable to this disease, the elderly and those with chronic health conditions. If you have any symptons related to COVID-19, please do not attend the funeral services. What the family needs most at this time are your prayers and understanding.
