DAMARION STACKHOUSE Obituary


It is with great sympathy we announce the passing of Damarion Stackhouse on July 14, 2020.  Please lift the Stackhouse family in prayer as they grieve the loss of their loved one.  Funeral services will be on July 23, 2020 at 11:00 am, Power House Ministries Church, 265 Mt. Calvary Road, Dillon, South Carolina.  Interment will in the Resthaven Cemetary, Dillon, South Carolina.   Funeral services will be limited to immediate family members and program participants of 50 persons or less with a interment after funeral services. Please note that mandatory facial mask to be worn during entire service.  While the Stackhouse family would love to be surrounded by your presence, they acknowledge the health risks to family, church members, friends, and particularly to those who are most vulnerable to this disease, the elderly and those with chronic health conditions. If you have any symptons related to COVID-19, please do not attend the funeral services. What the family needs most at this time are your prayers and understanding.

Da-Marion Jervai Stackhouse affectionately known as “Scoota” was born on May 23, 2004 in Dillon County, South Carolina. He was the son of Jennifer A. Davis and Darius J. Stackhouse. He departed this earthly life on Tuesday, July 14, 2020.

 

DaMarion attended the Dillon County Public Schools in Dillon, South Carolina. After school he worked at the Cookout.  His hobbies were football, basketball, weight lifting and he loved his dogs.

 

Preceding DaMarion in death ~ his sister: Myasha Bethea; aunt: Shereeka Stackhouse; uncles: Kenny Stackhouse, Terry Davis; grandfather: James Davis and great grandmother: Creola Stackhouse.

 

Scoota leaves to cherish his loving memories ~ his mother: Jennifer A. Davis, father: Darius J. Stackhouse; step-father: Perry J. Bethea; grandparents: James E. Davis, Katie McBride, Annie Watson, Willie Wright; brothers: Rakeem Davis, Malike Davis, Marcus Davis, Marquis Davis, Kiyhan Page, Jerzeke McNeil Brycen, Alij Baker; sisters: JiAzia D. Stackhouse, Shaquana Morrison, Kirsten Singletary; uncles: Tyrone Davis, Germaine {Melissa} Davis, Charles McBride Jr., James{Shamada} Davis, Christopher Stackhouse, Timothy Stackhouse, Kevin Stackhouse, Kevin Rodgers, Christopher Davis, James {Jashima} Davis, Carl {Lineice} Davis, Stacy Davis; aunts: Mae {Keith} Page, Regina Davis, Wanda Stackhouse, Tomeika {Cedrick} McCrae, Allison Williams, Karen {Jared} Mayers, Pamela Huges, Rose Marie Knowles, Beverly Davis, Stephanie Davis, Sharon {Marvin} Wright, Sticha {Willie} Peppers; special cousins: Jalilisha Davis, Malasia Page, Kelveon Woods, Jhiquez Crosland; girlfriend: Ya’Sinya Lizaho; best friends: LaShawnte Rogers, Carlos Miller, Laketa Seven, Kenny Williams, La’Quiston Smalls, Jerick Manning, ZiKera Porter and Dillon High School class of 2022 and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
