Kevin LaShon Davis, 26 of High Point, North Carolina departed this life on Tuesday September 23, 2014. Sham, as he was affectionately known to his family and friends was born on October 22, 1987 in High Point, NC, a son of George E. Davis and the late Carolyn J. Davis. He attended public school in Guilford County. He was a member of Brookhaven Baptist Church in High Point, NC. He was friendly, had a passion for life and always had a bright smile. He enjoyed spending time with his 3 year old daughter Brazille. His grandmother, Lauree Bethea and his mother Carolyn J. Davis preceded him in death. He leaves to cherish his memory, a daughter Brazille Stamey, a father George (Annette) Davis of High Point, NC; a brother Maurice (Sylvia) Bethea of High Point, NC; a Grandmother, Shirley Mearite of Dillon, SC; 4 Step-sisters Andrea, Anita, Alysse and Aaliyah Hyatt, 2 step-brothers Andre and Abram Hyatt, all of High Point, NC; 2 special aunts, Geneva (Simmie) McCall of High Point, NC and Sarah (Nelson) Smith of Dillon, SC; a special friend Johnathan Hinshaw of High Point, NC; and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Saturday 3 PM at Minturn Grove Baptist Church in Minturn, SC, with Rev. Martha Bridges, Pastor and Eulogist, burial will follow in Resthaven Cemetery in Floydale,SC.
